Community Update – December 2022
It’s been a busy 2022 at Aston Hills, with plenty of masterplan milestones being met and so many new families joining our award-winning Adelaide Hills community.
We’ve listed some of our highlights from 2022 below to look back on a year full of construction and community celebrations, and we can’t wait to share with you what we have in store for 2023!
Drakes Announced as Flagship Retailer
The Aston Hills team was thrilled to announce in 2022 that Drakes Supermarkets would be the flagship retailer at our brand new shopping centre. Since then, the Aston Hills Shopping Centre has rapidly taken shape and is due to officially open its doors in early 2023. We look forward to making more announcements about this exciting new retail destination in the new year – watch this space!
Welcome to Maplewood
Aston Hills launched its exciting new precinct Maplewood in 2022. Located in a premium pocket of this award-winning development, Maplewood is tucked away just over the hill from the brand new Aston Hills Shopping Centre, future medical centre and education campus making this tranquil Hills address just a short stroll from convenient shops and services. The Clubhouse Collection
Overlooking the Aston Hills Golf Club, a limited selection of premium Clubhouse Collection townhomes were released at Aston Hills in 2022. With stunning fairway views, private pedestrian access to the golf course and a fixed turnkey price, these stylish Lanser Living homes have been popular. The Range Reserve
Located in Aston Hill’s Range precinct, the Range Reserve features everything from a basketball half court, kickabout area and a playground that features a fun flying fox and nature play features. This exciting new family destination opened in 2022 and has become a popular place with kids of all ages and abilities.
Heysen Boulevard
The Aston Hills team has made significant progress on our final connection of Heysen Boulevard in 2022. From opening up the new roundabout at the intersection of Springs Road and Heysen Boulevard earlier in the year to nearing completion on the final connection from Springs Road to Paech Road – we look forward to making more exciting announcements about Heysen Boulevard in the new year…
Aquatic Centre Plans
Detailed concept plans were revealed for Mount Barker’s new aquatic centre to be built adjacent to Aston Hills. The site for the centre is located next to the Summit Sport and Recreation Park and includes repurposing heritage barns and connecting the site with the Laratinga Wetlands via new linear trails. Plans for the aquatic centre itself include an indoor aquatic and leisure centre, a competition capable 25m lap pool, a leisure pool, a toddler splash and play area, a warm water hydrotherapy pool and a gym, cafe, creche and community and wellness rooms.
Our New TV Commercial
Some of you may have seen us out and about shooting brand new TV commercial at Aston Hills… Watch out for our new Lanser television ad that showcases the Central Lakes at Aston Hills – this commercial will feature during Sunrise and the Big Bash over the holiday break!
Display Village at The Range
We welcomed an incredible selection of South Australia’s most trusted builders to our new display village at The Range in 2022. This display village is now home to 10 beautiful new show homes that are an endless source of inspiration for anyone thinking about building their dream home in 2023. We look forward to welcoming even more builders to our village in 2023!
